Whenever rug hookers gather, there are always fun times to be had. The first day of the Artful Rug Hooker Symposium (today) was amazing....lots of smiling, happy faces, interesting projects, terrific guest speakers, tasty treats and of course, many laughs. In case that wasn't enough, we also paid another visit to the offices of Dr. Halina Bienkowski to see all of her fabulous rugs -- I couldn't believe how many rugs were new since last year. Wow. To finish off an already packed day, there was a special Fibre Arts Festival dinner, with an entire restaurant filled with (mostly) rug hookers. It was definitely a fibre-filled day!
Tomorrow will be another busy one, I am sure...so I'd better get some sleep...nighty night.
